Shoreline Senior’s Golf Club
The Shoreline Senior’s Golf Club is a group of golf enthusiasts who have or will reach their 55th birthday during the current calendar year. The group plays on Mondays with a large field (usually 80-110 players) starting at 7:30 AM, and on Wednesdays with a smaller group (24 players).
Game formats vary from week to week, sometimes with individual games, sometimes with games for twosomes or foursomes. Prizes are awarded in several flights, as well as closest to the pin payouts on two of the par three holes. All games require that members have a USGA handicap.
There are also several extra outings planned each year to the NCGA-operated courses (Poppy Hills, Poppy Ridge), and other courses such as Callippe Preserve. The group also organizes several social events throughout the year, including the member/guest scramble (June/July) and an annual Meeting/Barbeque.
